The Man in the Sea Museum is home to the one and only- SEALAB I, the U.S. Navy's first underwater habitat. Visitors may tour where 4 divers lived and worked for 11 days in 193 feet of water. The museum also features dioramas, static displays and audio/visual resources to tell the fascinating history of exploring the depths of the waters. Climb through the Beaver IV submersible and try on an actual deep sea dive helmet! Outside, visitors can also see one of the first saturation systems, personal transfer capsules, swimmer deliver vehicles and submarines. We offer something for everyone to enjoy!
