Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

we´ve planned to relocate from Germany to Jacksonville.
I would like to ask you what is the best way to get assistance for all required steps like finding for the children the right school.

Thanks a lot,
Gerald Anders
Hi Gerald,
Thanks for reaching out.
I used to live in Germany! Suffice to say you’ll get a lot more sun here.
Here’s information from the state about relocating to Florida, with info about driver’s licenses, schools and everything else you can think of.
Also, check out this info from Jacksonville’s visitors’ services. Obviously you’ll be living here but it’s a great way to get a quick idea of what’s going on.
Finally, here’s info from My Move about relocating Jacksonville, including a lot of info about schools.
You’re going to love it here.

I have traveled across the country to many states and this is one of my all time favorite welcome centers. Free O.J. And free Grapefruit Juice samples from very friendly workers.
I look forward to this welcome center every time and I will see you soon.
what hours and days is the welcome center lobby open? Last year 2015, we stopped at the welcome center and it was closed, of course restrooms etc were open but lobby closed. I'm trying to time it so we can stop in this year. thanks Tammy
Do you have a dump station and a place to get water at your welcome centre
On our way to Florida in February traveling in motor home...would we be allowed to spend one night at your welcome center...we are not sure of your rules...thank you...Marlene
