The 14th Annual Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival takes place on January 16th-25th, 2014 to Celebrate the Heart & Soul of Tampa Bay. The 10 days of cultural events provide educational, philanthropic and community based diversity to the Tampa Bay Community. TBBHF features local and nationally known speakers, musicians, artists, poets and craftspeople. The Festival always encompasses the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. The highlight of the Festival is our free 2-day Heritage Street Festival on January 18-19 at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa, featuring the Ohio Players and Pieces of a Dream. This year’s events include Porgy & Bess, the Dynamic Hill Harper, Heritage Gala, 5K Walk, MLK Day Golf Classic, Gospel Night, and much, much more.
