Chipola Feather Fest offers an opportunity to view an exciting number of birds unique to Jackson County and surrounding area. A variety of field trips are planned for three mornings at various hot spots in the area. Lunch at food trucks and then afternoon workshops at Chipola College and evening guest speakers and entertainment. Mark your calendar for the three day event April 24-26, 2015. Marianna Municipal Airport Fly-in

The 4th annual Marianna Municipal Airport Fly-in has a day full of aircraft, demonstrations, fly overs, helicopter rides in HUEY and COBRAs, FAA Young Eagles rides, Chipola remote control aircraft, vendors. The entire day is filled with static displays of warbirds including Lockheed-12, the aircraft in the movie Amelia, Beechcraft, AT-6s and more. This year we are expanding in to military helicopter rides in HUEYs and COBRAs, The rides include a charge.
