Florida Museum of Natural History

The Florida Museum of Natural History is the official state natural history museum and one the nation’s top five museums, with collections of more than 40 million specimens and artifacts. Visitors can enjoy hundreds of exotic, live butterflies in the award-winning "Butterfly Rainforest" exhibit, witness a South Florida Calusa Indian welcoming ceremony, experience a life-size limestone cave and see a mammoth and mastodon from the last ice age.
