Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens
Set in a 100 year old limerock quarry, the botanical garden, 21 years in the making, is now open for your visiting pleasure. We have over 50 quaint, separate gardens among numerous waterfalls, bridges and decks along with countless benches and overlooks. We are home to a wide variety of God's creatures who have taken sanctuary in our woods and botanical gardens. We recently welcomed a pair of Mute Swan who happily pose for pictures and enjoy scheduled feedings along with our turtles, koi and bass. We have a spectacular 100lb Blue Catfish, cheerfully named "Big Ben" who is typically first up for feedings. We offer guided tours included in your daily admission, we have plenty of parking, picnic areas and brand new restrooms. We encourage a tour for your first visit but of course, guests are welcome to stroll at will. For absolute peace, guests are invited to roam through the adjacent 54 acres of our conservation easement which offers bird watching and photography opportunities. We do recommend non-skid footwear and ask that you do not forget your camera!
