Southwest Florida Water Management District

Every year about 2.5 million people visit public conservation lands obtained by the Southwest Florida Water Management District and its partners to protect Florida’s water resources. The District offers a variety of outdoor activities that allow the public to get outside and appreciate the environment while protecting the natural resources that make them such great places to visit. Some of the outdoor activities include biking, birding, boating, camping, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, hunting, inline skating and picnicking.
