St. Johns River Water Management District

The St. Johns River Water Management District is one of five water management districts in Florida and includes all or part of 18 counties in northeast and east-central Florida. The District has purchased approximately 700,000 acres of land as part of its work to protect and preserve water resources. In addition, these lands protect plant and wildlife habitat and provide areas for public recreation. Explore some of the scenic and unspoiled conservation areas and enjoy a variety of recreational opportunities, including wildlife viewing, hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, horseback riding and fishing.
