American Space Museum

A one-of-a-kind museum for the whole family, featuring artifacts from Projects Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Shuttle. We offer hands-on activities for young people and docent-led tours for folks who want to hear the inside story of America's space program. A mock-up control room contains the actual consoles which launched the Atlas/Centaur rockets for over 40 years. This interactive exhibit allows young and old alike to flip the actual switches and light up the panels. Just down the street are our beautiful monuments dedicated to Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Shuttle. Be sure to visit! The museum is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission donation is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and military, $5 for ages 13-18 and FREE to children 12 and under.
