Everglades Expeditions and Recreation

Florida’s Everglades are vast subtropical wetlands that flow from the Kissimmee River down to the Florida Keys. Consisting of many different ecosystems, the Everglades are diverse and full of various plant and animal life. Located in the central portion of this vast expanse are the Water Conservation Areas, which are sectioned off to create important filtering systems for the waters that flow from the farmlands just south of Lake Okeechobee. Everglades Recreation & Expeditions can take you to the interior sections of these vast areas. Canoeing, kayaking, airboat rides and camping are offered as part of your experience with Everglades Recreation & Expeditions.
