Marie Selby Botanical Gardens

Explore the world’s most spectacular display of rare orchids, bromeliads and tropical plants in this 15-acre oasis on the shores of Sarasota Bay, just across from Siesta Key. There is something for everyone here, including the only outdoor, elevated Children’s Rainforest Garden in North America. Café on site serves soft drinks, beer, wine, local coffee and tea, sandwiches, snacks and homemade desserts. Tropical Conservatory features rotating display of exotic blooming orchids while the Museum of Botany & Art showcases ever-changing botanical art and photography exhibits. Gifts, plants and books are available for sale in the Garden Shop. Group rates available. Allow two hours viewing time. Hours 10 am to 5 pm, daily.
