Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is home to four award-winning golf courses: Raven Golf Club, Baytowne Golf Club, The Links Golf Club, and the semi-private Burnt Pine Golf Club. As the only resort in Northwest Florida named to both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest's Best Golf Resorts in North America, and the only place in the world with course designs by the famous Jones brothers, Rees (Burnt Pine) and Robert Trent Jr. (Raven), Sandestin is a must play for any serious golfer. But, with multiple teeing options, the golf experience at Sandestin is also an enjoyable one for all skill levels. Raven Golf Club opened in 2000 and was host in 2006 and 2007 to Champions Tour events. Golf Digest ranked it 4 1/2 Stars in its last two Places to Play; surveys while Golf Magazine named it #14 in Florida in its recent Best Near You list. Burnt Pine Golf Club opened in 1994 and while private, the course is open to registered resort guests. Burnt Pine is generally regarded as the finest test of golf at Sandestin and has received 4 1/2 Stars from Golf Digest's, Places to Play for six years in a row. Baytowne Golf Club opened in 1986 and was redesigned in 2005. Upon reopening. Baytowne was certified as a U.S. Kids Golf Family Friendly course. Golf Digest has awarded 4 1/2 Stars to Baytowne the last four years in its Places to Play rankings. The Links Golf Club opened in 1973 and is the oldest of the four courses at Sandestin. It provides incredible views from five holes that lie directly on the Choctawhatchee Bay and has been awarded 4 Stars by Golf Digest in the Places to Play survey for the past 6 years. Golf and lodging packages are available year round and public tee times are accepted at three of the four courses. In 2015, the Raven, Baytowne and the Links courses have been rated a Top 75 Golf Resort in Florida by Golf Digest. All Sandestin golf courses have once again been awarded the Best Places You Can Play designation by Golfweek.
