The Daytona Beach Golf Club is a 36 hole facility that is owned and operated by the City of Daytona Beach. We offer complete services for all your golf needs. This includes the full service Clubhouse Restaurant.
The South Course is a Donald Ross design that was opened in 1922. Many of the original features remain. The South course is a short, sporty golf course that is generous from the tee, but requires precision approaches in order to make birdies. Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Sam Snead and Jimmy Demerit played a challenge match on this couse in 1946 with Demerit shooting 64 to secure the win.
The North Course was designed by then manager Slim Deathridge and opened in 1967. The North course was completely renovated in 1996. The North course is a more modern design that features more bunkers and water hazards. Although the yardage on the score card is not intimidating, the golfer must play accurate shots from the tee in order to approach the greens accurately to putt for birdie.
We also feature excellent practice facilities that include a driving range, 10,000 sq. foot putting green with a pitching and chipping area. Our Pro-Shop carries all manner of equipment and apparel that will suit any golfers need. We also represent PING, Taylor-Made, Callaway, Titleist and Cobra Golf Equipment Manufacturers. We have special expertise in club fitting and repair. We employ the Zelocity Launch Monitor so that we can determine your exact club specifications so that any golfer can get the most out of their golf equipment investment. We also offer loft and lie measurement and club bending services. We are staffed by PGA Professionals and Apprentises who have intimate knowledge of the game and the business of golf.
