By Lauren Tjaden
Here are some great LEGOLAND events in 2018.
Cool concerts! Seasonal parties! Grand openings! LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven promises 12 months of brick-tacular entertainment with an exciting lineup of special events for 2018. The excitement kicks off in January with LEGO® NINJAGO® Days, featuring three consecutive weekends of exclusive activities and entertainment that your whole gang will love. If you’re looking for fun, fireworks and one-of-a-kind experiences, read on to discover what the place built for kids is delivering this year.
“LEGO NINJAGO: Master of the 4th Dimension”
Opening Jan. 20
3D is so yesterday—the latest thing is 4D. Brand new, this theatrical adventure pairs mind-blowing 3D computer animation with “4D” real-world action. Watch as ninjas Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane and Nya try to escape from a bewildering dimension brimming with unbelievable optics. You can enjoy the show daily in the Wells Fargo Fun Town Theater.
LEGO NINJAGO Days
Jan. 20-21, 27-28, and Feb. 3-4
Your little ones become the ninjas in LEGO NINJAGO World, waging battle against memorable enemies like Lord Garmadon and the Great Devourer aboard LEGO NINJAGO The Ride. This all-new event offers meet-and-greets with Kai, Nya and even Master Wu.
The Great LEGO Race
Opening in Spring of 2018
High-octane, cutting-edge and weirdly-wild: the LEGO race is all that and more. Your kids are the drivers in this new attraction that blends virtual-reality effects with roller coaster action. They’ll challenge crazy machines piloted by Trendsetter, Pharaoh, Surfer Girl, Wizard and Pirate Captain -- like a rocket-powered surfboard and an expresso-fueled scooter -- in this adrenaline powered contest.
Brick Dash 5K*
Family fun and fitness take center stage in this popular, long-running 5K, which returns under the new sponsorship of Visit Central Florida, benefitting Merlin’s Magic Wand, the global children’s charity of LEGOLAND parent company, Merlin Entertainments.
KIDZ BOP Weekend
Stand by for 2018 dates
Want to hang out with the coolest kids in Florida? These fab events feature exclusive meet-and-greets with the KIDZ BOP Kids, plus three days of super-charged concerts. It gets better: At the concerts, the KIDZ will debut their official theme song for LEGOLAND Florida Resort, “Awesome Awaits.”

Festive decorations and photo ops round out the fun.
