Join MUVE (Museum Volunteers for the Environment) and FIU’s School of Environment, Arts and Society as we remove invasive vegetation from our new Batchelor Environmental Center restoration site, on the banks of the Oleta River in North Miami, to begin restoring the land to a native mangrove forest. The invasive vegetation consists primarily of Burma reed, Australian pine, and Brazilian pepper. All tools and gloves will be provided.
