Tour West Palm Beach on a Trolley

    By Carrie McLaren

Because I'm a mom, I love sneaking in some education while having fun on vacation with my kids.

The West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority invites you to step aboard the West Palm Beach trolley, step back in time and learn the stories of West Palm Beach’s historic sites and landmarks.

The 45-minute ride through Downtown West Palm Beach features guides portraying residents from 1945. West Palm Beach tours through this historic area highlight the Clematis District’s distinctive architectural styles.

West Palm Beach trolley stops include the area's first “skyscraper,” the 10-story Comeau Building; Pioneer Linens, known as Pioneer Hardware when built in 1912; the Harris Music Lofts built in 1902 and the Downtown waterfront.
