Hot Summer Nights in Tampa Bay

    By Kara Franker

Turn the heat up a notch this summer in Tampa Bay, as we celebrate family fun until the sun goes down.

Beat the heat and uncover the best nighttime events at attractions like Busch Gardens, Adventure Islands, the Florida Aquarium and Sail Pavilion. Plus enjoy an impressive summer concert series at MidFlorida Amphitheater.

Busch Gardens is open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays throughout Summer Nights beginning June 27 through Aug. 16, 2015. Enjoy the award-winning Kinetix show featuring nightly performances of its high energy music and acrobatics at 9 p.m. in Gwazi Park. The best views are on Gwazi field, but the fireworks are visible from all over the park.

For a more tropical feel, Adventure Islands’ Island Nights will run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night through Aug. 8, offering live entertainment, games on the beach, tropical cuisine and island fun for the entire family.

The Florida Aquarium’s Summer Fun Nights offers extended hours and discounted admission on select Thursday evenings throughout the summer. See a performance by The Florida Aquarium Mermaids or experience the sunset and Tampa Bay’s wildlife on a Wild Dolphin Cruise.

For adults, relax at the Tampa Convention Center's Sail Pavilion waterfront bar this summer and enjoy food trucks, live entertainment and craft beer at the Beer Garden.
