Rum Punch Recipe by Smugglers Cove in Islamorada

    Need a little inspiration while you're counting down the days until your Florida Keys vacation? This rum punch recipe by Smugglers Cove of Islamorada has you covered.

    In celebration of their recent renovations, they've shared with us this fun recipe for a tropical fruit punch that they call "Smugg's Punch." It's the perfect sip to slip into island time for a laid-back afternoon or evening.

    If you happen to find yourself in the Florida Keys, their restaurant is definitely worth checking out. Not only is the resort framed by turquoise waters and marina views, it now has a new cozy tropical beach area and tiki bar, too.

    And, they're known for their award-winning pulled pork, known as "The Best Butt in the Keys," as well as fresh local seafood and Keys' favorites such as conch and key lime pie.

    Smugg's Punch Recipe:
    1 oz. Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum
    1 oz. Bacardi 151 Proof Rum
    ½ oz. Triple Sec
    2 oz. Pineapple Juice
    1 oz. Orange Juice
    ¾ oz. Grenadine

    Directions: Mix together all ingredients and pour over ice into a tall glass. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
