Not only is it hump day, Wednesday is the day greens are springing up all over Miami Beach.
Each middle of the week, Sunset Harbor’s “it” neighborhood transitions into a farmer’s market in the breezeway between Ice Box and Panther Coffee. The market comes courtesy of Paradise Farms. Find a selection of Indian food, greens, mushrooms, teas, beets, edible flowers, goat cheese, fruit, even local eggs and honey.
If you’re thinking of making a killer salad for supper, this is your go-to spot.
For those craving carbs, head to the Botanical Garden across from the Convention Center. The garden is now also hosting a mid-week farmer’s market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., dubbed (appropriately) The Garden Market, where you’ll find a variety of delicious pastas and breads and baked goods from Zak the Baker. There are also cheeses, like mozzarella, honey, plants and fruits and veggies from Little Haiti Community Garden.
The Garden Market is the Garden’s attempt to keep things green around Miami Beach, by offering eco-friendly solutions and the chance to support local farmers and crafters.
It looks like dinner just got local.
