Hair. We all have it, and we all have to do something with it.
Enter Glam&Go, the newest blow dry bar to hit Miami. But this isn’t your average blow dry bar; it was created specifically for people on the go.
Have a chic dinner after your boot camp class? Don’t even think about skipping your workout. Just head to the salon to squeeze in for an express blowout after your class.
Opening this week at Exhale at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel and Exhale in Downtown Miami at the Epic Hotel, choose from a menu that includes a 15-minute dry wash and blowout, braids and a 30-minute wet-to-dry signature blowout.
“Most women today have the hour of time carved out for the gym, but not the additional 30 minutes to an hour it takes to get back into their schedules looking up to par. Glam&Go was designed to make gorgeous hair and busy schedules compatible for the first time,” says founder Erika Wasser. “In a world of compromise, Glam&Go allows women to do it all. You don’t have to skimp on exercise or on looking good.”
The salon, which started in New York and has been featured in the New York Times, Elle, Shape Magazine and on Good Morning America, is bringing its services to Florida for the first time via Miami.
And don’t think it’s just for those who hit the gym. Maybe you need a post-beach or pool pick me up before hitting the town. This is a perfect solution, especially considering the price -- dry-wash and blow services (including braids) are just $20, while wet-to-dry blowouts (also dubbed “you shower, we style”) are $35.
Appointments can be booked online at www.glamandgohair.com/book-an-appointment, but walk-ins are accommodated as often as they can be. There’s even a Glam&Go app, to make booking easy.
And for those who need the salon to come to them, Glam&Go offers Glam To Go, an in-home service.
Finally, going glam just got that much easier.
