Need a weekend shopping excursion? Consider the Conch Hill Market, a chance to score treasures in Miami.
The weather in South Florida is, after all, perfect these days, so what better excuse for a trip? Located just 15 minutes from the Miami International Airport, in the heart of historical Little Havana, the antiques and collectibles market promises 100 dealers on 12,000 square feet.
Inside the market, which is hosted in the former Capo Furniture Store on Calle Ocho, you’ll find decorative and fine art, antique furniture, sterling silver vintage designer clothing, Mid-century goodies, estate jewelry and good old-fashioned Americana memorabilia.
Trust me, you’ll find anything from vintage bar ware (think alligator and mermaid bottle openers) to Lucite chairs, Pucci dresses and pocket watches—the list of fabulous finds abounds.
While the area offers occasional markets or festivals throughout the year, Conch Hill Market brings a constant treasure-hunting experience to Miami’s urban core, because the festival runs from Tuesdays through Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Happy hour kicks off Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. Feel free to stick around for the entire afternoon; there’s the Vintage Candy Shop & Café to grab a bite or snack.
