Twilight Savings in West Palm Beach

By: Carling Nolan

As a golfer, there’s nothing better than daylight savings. You could spend all day with a 36-hole adventure, or enjoy your afternoon beach session and catch 18 after 4 o’clock. The possibilities are endless!

Now that you can play til the wee hours, it’s time to take advantage of some amazing twilight rates. One of my favorite deals is at West Palm Beach Golf Course, where you can squeeze in as much golf as possible after 4:30 p.m. for only $15.

Playing during peak hours will cost you close to $50, so you know this course is legit. WPBGC used to be famous for hosting the “West Palm Beach Open Invitational,” a yearly PGA tournament back in the Arnold Palmer days.

Today it’s known for its Friday Pro Am, which has been called the “Oldest Game in Town” and still attracts professionals and amateurs to compete weekly in this points game.

Before you go, you should check out the "Tips"  page on their website, which will help you maneuver around the course with ease and even win a few bets.

I’m not sure what you’re used to up north, but down here in West Palm we love nothing more than sunrises on the beach and sunsets over the fairways.

If you go…
