The Biltmore Golf Course in Coral Gables is not only an incredible golf course, it's also full of history!

The Biltmore is one of South Florida's oldest golf courses, designed in 1925 by Donald Ross. Hotel guests used to take gondolas through the local canals to the course, and the canals can still be seen today.

The Biltmore is almost 90 years old, and the resort is a national historical landmark. The golf course is a favorite of Bill Clinton and Jeb Bush. Finally, The Biltmore is something that the Republicans and Democrats can agree on!

Just because the course is 90 years old, doesn't mean it is out of date. The 18-hole, par-71 course was beautifully refurbished in 2007. The greens are well protected by bunkering, and there is plenty of water to avoid throughout the round. There are gorgeous houses surrounding the course, and you'll have a great view of the historic Biltmore Resort.

Make sure to stop by the performance golf academy, pro shop, and the casual dining restaurant. The Biltmore is only 15 minutes from The Miami International Airport, so it's the perfect stop for a historic weekend getaway.
