Innisbrook Golf Resort is welcoming the PGA Tour to its Copperhead Course this March 13-16.
The pros will be heading straight into “The Snake Pit,” where the three finishing holes will test their swings and their nerves.
Before you watch Phil and Tiger on TV, it’s not too late to travel to sunny Palm Harbor to test this course for yourself.
Innisbrook has five courses available to the public, ranging from the nine-hole family course to a top-rated PGA tournament track. The rolling terrain makes these courses different from your typical Florida golf courses. You will be faced with uphill and downhill lies, elevated greens, and beautiful scenery all day long.
With very few nearby residences, the wildlife can sometimes even be seen from the course -- with blue herons, alligators, fox squirrels, and eagles present.
I hope you plan to stay at least a week because Innisbrook is a vacation paradise complete with a water park, nature trails, tennis courts, restaurants, full apartment style suites, golf, and much more!
Kevin Streelman, The 2013 winner of the PGA Tour Valspar Championship, didn’t make a bogey in his last 37 holes and finished with a glorious birdie on the 17th hole, a 215-yard par 3.
Innisbrook is waiting for you and they want to know, “Can you survive The Snake Pit?”
