Want the scoop on where to find the most delicious meals while overlooking the best water views in Fort Lauderdale?

I just traveled there last weekend to get some photos of old favorites and to explore the menus of new restaurants. Keep an eye on this space for my upcoming article. In the meantime, here's a couple of photos to whet your palate ...

Start With Breakfast ...

This is the chicken and sweet potato waffle at S3 Restaurant

Dream Away The Afternoon ...

The "Dream" Cocktail at Beauty & The Feast. A mix of Absolut Elyx vodka, red grapes, muddled basil, simple syrup, lemon, and soda.

Snack on Some Scoobies ...

An "off the menu" daily special at Coconuts. They're sauteed in a dreamy roasted garlic and butter sauce.

Indulge in a Feast ...

Share some tapas at Beauty and the Feast. They make everything here from scratch (including their stocks), so you can really taste the difference.

Toast the Sunset and Dine with Friends ...

Shooters is one of the best places to relax and enjoy the sunset from Fort Lauderdale's famous canals.

Want to see more? I posted more than 30 photos to Instagram over the weekend, including some fun stuff such as stand-up paddle boarding and riding a tandem bicycle with my husband (a foodie's gotta stay active, you know?)
