This drive-through safari was a fantastic experience that I know my family will remember forever.
During our visit, we saw those giraffes and camels, plus lions, some magnificent birds, zebras and more. (You never realize how big a giraffe is until one walks alongside your car.) When you visit, don’t forget to bring your camera – the photo opportunities are incredible.
As you enter the park, you’ll receive a CD to play as you tour the grounds – a fascinating way to learn about the animals and how Lion Country Safari was born.
After you finish the safari, be sure to visit the rest of the amusement park, featuring mini-golf, rides and even more animal encounters. My girls loved seeing the flamingos. There’s a great restaurant, too. In fact, you can spend the whole day at the park.
