Exciting things are coming to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park in 2014. Adventure, fun and surprises are in store with a new parade and a new ride coming to Fantasyland.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, set to open in the spring of 2014, will take riders on a musical journey through the story of Snow White. With twists, turns and surprises – it’s a family-style coaster for all to enjoy. I was able to see some of the construction of this area on our last visit and I’m very eager to check it out in the coming months.

Also coming this spring is a new daytime parade for the streets of Magic Kingdom Park. Disney’s Festival of Fantasy parade will feature the stories of Fantasyland including Merida, Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder and even classics like Peter Pan and Wendy soaring above a pirate galleon. A new soundtrack just for this parade, along with all-new parade floats have Disney fans excited to see their favorite characters in a new setting.

When opening dates are announced, I’ll be sure and share the news with you. Until then, I’ll be eagerly awaiting my turn on the Mine Train!
