Not long ago, I had the opportunity to visit the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, a place filled with history and breathtaking aircraft. It was quite an experience to stand next to the planes used by the Blue Angels, who call this place home.
The museum’s newest exhibit, the Blue Angels X4D Experience, offers visitors a unique look at what it feels like to fly with the Blues. Interactive seats and special effects built into the theater itself create a “4D” effect for a multi-sensory experience.
Admission to the museum is free (donations are welcomed), however there is a fee of $7 per guest for The Blue Angels X4D® Experience.
If you’re interested in upgrading your experience at the museum, check out this Blue Angels winter special, good through March 1, 2014. For $25 per person, each guest receives:
1 Blue Angels 4D Experience
1 “Ride with the Blues” motion-based flight simulator ride
1 stainless travel mug with
1 free coffee (from Cubi Bar Cafe with purchase of meal at regular price)
1 IMAX movie ticket to “The Magic of Flight”. (Showtimes 11 a.m., 1 p.m. & 3 p.m.)
1 personalized Dog Tag with chain
