About the Amelia Island Resort
While I may not be a golf expert, I do know a thing or two about luxury resorts and the Omni Amelia Island Planation Resort provides a gorgeous backdrop for the television show.
Nestled at the tip of a barrier island off the Northeast Florida coast, the 1,350-acre resort is surrounded by sparkling Atlantic waters and lush salt marshlands.
The resort recently underwent an extensive $85 million renovation. With 404 oceanfront rooms in the new Oceanside wing and the rejuvenated Sunrise wing, the resort offers a total of 600 beds and 27 suites, including the new End Suites that feature wrap-around porches and offer endless views of the Atlantic coastline.
Additional suites include the Presidential Suites, Executive Suites and Corner Suites. Each room blends beach blues and greens with natural elements to create a “beachy not kitschy” feel. The guest rooms feature unparalleled views of sunrise and sunset, from the ocean to the marsh. Looking over the resort from Oceanside and Sunrise, the island’s lush green tree canopy blankets the island.
Sounds like paradise doesn’t it?
