Wekiwa Springs State Park is a mere hour from most central Florida attractions. But it feels as if it’s on another planet.
The wind sings through the pines, and you can hear the quiet crunch of your feet when you walk. A cool, shimmering spring invites you to take a dip, and kayaks rest by a meandering river. It’s a place where nature celebrates. In fact, the lands look largely the same as they did when the Timucuan Indians fished and hunted them.
It’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with family and friends. Just take a glimpse at my pictures. I think you’ll begin to see reason.
