Have you ever wondered what it feels like to skydive? Perhaps you've dreamed about turning, speeding up or slowing down, merely by arching your back, shrugging your shoulders or moving your arms or legs.
If you’re like many people, free-falling sounds great… except for that part where you have to leap out of a plane a couple of miles above the ground. That can be a deal-killer.
At iFLY Orlando, an indoor skydiving wind tunnel where almost anyone can fly, you can have your cheesecake and snack on it, too. The experience is so close to the real thing that pros use it to practice their skills, but you don’t run the risk of a hard landing. Plus, you avoid that having-to-abandon-a-perfectly-good-airplane-thing.
Most people -- from children as young as 3 years old to seniors – can fly, though anyone under 18 years of age will have to have a parent or guardian sign a waiver. No experience is necessary, but reservations are highly recommended. You can book your flight online here.
And yes, I’ve done it. Major fun factor!
