4. Use a Hair Mask Once a Week
Many shampoo labels say they are suitable for daily use, but if you're washing your hair every day, then you're doing it too often. Shampooing every day strips your hair of its natural oils, and these oils are designed to protect your hair from the harsh elements of the environment. If you take away these natural oils, then you're exposing your hair to breakage and overall damage.
Once a week, use a hair mask such as Moroccan Oil or a Kerastase Elixir:
- Towel dry shampooed hair and apply the mask,
- Place on a shower cap and spend the rest of the evening watching your favorites shows,
- Rinse off the next day leaving beautiful, smooth and healthy hair.
5. Take Care of Your Skin
Start with a blank slate. Invest and book a skin care consultation with a great esthetician and allow them to recommend you an at-home skin care regimen rather than purchasing an unsuitable product from the most convenient store.
Always use a sun block or buy a foundation with a good SPF.
Always clean your face before bedtime to remove impurities and pollution.
6. Color me Beautiful
Before applying makeup use a good moisturizing sun block. BB creams are highly popular and cover blemishes without looking too heavy.
See a makeup artist and have a color-match consultation. These are usually complimentary and they will work to enhance your facial shape.
