An old-fashioned Christmas comes will all the holiday trimmings at the historic Leu House Museum at the Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando, Nov. 17, 2013-Jan. 5, 2014.
Each room in the 1888 farmhouse is classically adorned with holiday trimmings that inspire and delight all ages. Interior design students from Seminole State College decorate each room in themes ranging from Victorian to American Colonial to Funky Retro.
Founded in 1961, Harry P. Leu Gardens offers visitors 50-acre gardens with winding pathways through over 40 different plant collections, including a butterfly garden and Florida's largest rose garden. The 19th century Leu House Museum, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is in the heart of the gardens.
Thirty minute tours of the museum are given on the hour and half-hour starting at 10 a.m., with the last tour of each day at 3:30 p.m.
