A long-distance love story between two immigrants opens the 5th annual Naples International Film Festival Nov. 7-10.
Opening night will feature the Florida premiere of the film Hank and Asha! The movie is a modern love story about an Indian woman studying in Prague and a lonely New Yorker who begin an unconventional correspondence through video letters – two strangers searching for human connection in a hyper-connected world. When their relationship deepens, they must decide whether or not to meet face to face.
Winner of numerous awards on the film festival circuit, Hank and Asha is a film about identity, longing, and the irresistible appeal of entertaining life's what-ifs.
Filmmakers will be in attendance for a discussion immediately following the film.
Tickets are on sale now for the festival’s full lineup, which is packed with independent narrative features, documentaries and short films, as well as Q&As with visiting filmmakers, parties and events.
