looking for some fun activities for and 8 and 10 year old boys while in Jacksonville Monday/Tueaday march 2,3?
need to find something fun to do for an 8 and 10 year old boy in Northeastern Florida. Jacksonville on Tuesday March 3rd! leaving jax on Wes am.
Peter, here are some suggestions from VISIT FLORIDA Family Insider Carrie McLaren, who's a Jacksonville resident and mother of two:

Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens (www.JacksonvilleZoo.org) - With over 2,000 animals and over 1,000 types of plants, the zoo is a great way to spend the day. I'd recommend buying the Value tickets that include admission to the zoo and also access to the animal-themed carousel, the zoo train that loops through the park and also entrance to Stingray Bay. Be sure to stop by the Giraffe Lookout to feed the giraffes - it's my family's favorite spot at the zoo. The usually have coupons on their website too.

Museum of Science and History, Jacksonville (www.TheMosh.org) - From the naturalist's center to the planetarium, MOSH is a hands-on learning museum in the heart of Downtown. They have a great exhibit running through late March called Shipwreck: Pirates and Treasures featuring artifacts and treasures and tells the story of how explorers found these items. It is definitely worth checking out.

Adventure Landing Jacksonville Beach (http://www.adventurelanding.com/parks/jacksonville-beach/) - This adventure park is a 'must' for kids. With go-karts, mini-golf, laser tag, batting cages and and a great arcade room - it's a fun way to spend the day. And if the weather is warm, take advantage of the Shipwreck Island Waterpark too. Check out their website for the latest specials and coupons.

Have fun!
