Daytona Beach is famous for its sandy shores and international speedway. But if you’ve had your fill of fun in the sun, you can always cool off indoors. These museums are easy on the wallet.

Museum of Arts and Sciences
The offer: On the first Tuesday of every month, Volusia County residents get free admission. Just bring proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, library card or utility bill.
The savings: Regular adult admission costs $12.95.

Halifax Historical Museum
The offer: Mark these two days on your calendar. On Thursdays, admission is donation only. And on Saturdays, all kids 12 and under get in free.
The savings: Regular admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under.
