If you are a fan of adventure races in Florida, you’re likely already familiar with Pangea Adventure Racing, which is having its annual Turkey Burn AR Saturday, Nov. 30.
But did you know that this race is the one that started it all for Pangea? Yep, their very first race was the Turkey Burn AR back in 2007. Since then Pangea has given us many great races across the state in some of Florida’s most rugged and scenic outdoor destinations.
This race is an old favorite and still a really fun and challenging event that’s worth signing up for if you’re in the Orlando area. So get out there and burn off that big Thanksgiving meal.
The race happens at the University of Central Florida Campus and participants can choose from the elite 12-hour race and the sport four-hour race.
But you have to hurry if you haven’t registered yet. Late registration ends Monday, Nov. 25. For more information, go to www.pangeaadventureracing.com.
