Nov. 16-17: Florida Panther Festival in Naples

If you keep up with outdoorsy stuff in Florida on social media, you've probably seen some cool photos and videos of Florida panthers recently. A sighting of a Florida panther in the wild is a rare treat, but with wildlife cameras we are able to get a peek into the behavior and habits of these magnificent creatures. All this footage helps to raise awareness and assists in Florida panther education efforts, plus it's just neat to see big cats walking around in the wild in Florida. Good stuff. 

Take your interest in Florida panthers a step further by heading to the Florida Panther Festival in Naples on Nov. 16-17. This family friendly event takes place at North Collier Regional Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features field trips to panther habitat and conservation area, children's games and crafts, exhibits and lots more.
