Florida Living History Stages Holiday Events in St. Augustine: Dec. 21

By: Gary McKechnie

Where should you be this December? I’d suggest you head to St. Augustine to witness one of the world’s most beautiful cities while it’s aglow with holiday lights. It really is an astounding sight when you roll across the famed Bridge of Lions and see the millions of tiny white lights accenting the trees and historic buildings.

And if you arrive on December 21st, you’re in luck. The second, annual Navidad en el Viejo heritage celebration happens then and will showcase Christmas customs and music of 16th century along with events around the city including costumed historians, plays, Nativity scenes and more.

Really, this is a full-scale, citywide event is sponsored by Florida Living History, Inc. Just click on the link to find the complete schedule of activities and if you need more information, just give them a call at (877) 352-4478.

So consider this an early Christmas gift -- courtesy of Florida Living History.
