The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival offers many great tasting opportunities, culinary demonstrations, and special events.

It can almost be overwhelming trying to decide which ones to do (which is why I highly recommend going multiple days), but there's a new event that you simply must attend.

Let me put it this way: how often can you say, "We're having drinks in Paris this afternoon, then we'll spend the evening enjoying fireworks in Orlando."

Yeah, not too often. You'll be the envy of all your friends on Facebook.

This must-do event is the Mixology Series: Taste, Shake and Indulge Like The French.

Tucked behind the Chefs de France you'll find the entrance to Monsieur Paul, where you'll ascend the stairs and be above the crowds and in your own intimate Parisian dining experience overlooking EPCOT's World Showcase Lagoon.  

You'll be welcomed with a mimosa and escorted to your private table where you'll discover four delicious tastings of Grand Marnier including Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach, Grand Marnier 100th Anniversary, and Grand Marnier 150th Anniversary.  

The Grand Marnier 150, technically called Cuvée Spéciale Cent Cinquantenaire (that's a fun one to say), is normally $220 per bottle. So, simply sipping this luxurious liquor is worth the cost of entry alone!

It's rumored The Grand Marnier 150 was marketed under the slogan "Hard to find, impossible to pronounce, and prohibitively expensive." Thankfully, this special event it is easy to find, the name is easier to pronounce once you've had a taste, and it's surprisingly affordable.

In addition to the tasting you'll find all the accoutrements to create your own cocktail as a witty and entertaining Grand Marnier expert regales you with stories while teaching you to make a delicious Grand Smash. Before you know it, you'll be mixing, muddling and shaking drinks like a pro. 

The grand finale includes indulging in French desserts.  Crepes Suzette are flambéed tableside and accompanied with Grand Marnier souffles made by the Chefs of Monsieur Paul. In your best French accent, can you say, "huuh huuh huuh!"  Bon appetit!

Sounds great -- almost good enough to fly to Disney World for. Wonder what that 150-year-old vintage tastes like.
