Remember the Tampa-based Saucy Queen I told you about earlier this week? Well, she's shared with us a recipe to use with Florida's Gulf shrimp. Perfect for end-of-summer gatherings.
Saucy Shrimp Scampi
- 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp (about 16 to 24)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2-3 tablespoons Garlic Goodness Sauce
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Rinse shrimp and set aside. Heat butter and olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Cook in Garlic Goodness Sauce, green onions, wine and lemon juice. Add shrimp and cook until they are pink and firm, about 4-5 minutes. Do not overcook. Serve hot & SAUCY with crusty bread!
