Plant-To-Plate Produce: Discovering Florida's Farms

I recently spent a weekend down in South Florida at the Miami Fruit & Spice Park for a video shoot and was amazed at all the fresh tropical fruits available.  

I saw fresh mangos and papaya, and even a few fruits I'd never heard of before, such as the monstera deliciousa, which really does live up to it's name as a "delicious monster."

Visiting farms has always been an annual autumn tradition for me. Growing up in Lake County, the Zellwood Corn Maze and local u-pick strawberry farms were always a must-see.
