Hawaiian Epicurean Adventure at Michael's On East

By: Rachelle Lucas

Michael’s Epicurean Adventures present culinary journeys to a new destination each month, and starting July 1st they'll be featuring cuisine from the Hawaiian Islands.  They haven't unveiled their new menu just yet, but if it includes Hawaiian traditions such as roasted pork, pineapple, and Mai Tais -- I can't think of a better cuisine for summer!

“It’s been great fun developing Hawaiian fusion dishes for our special July menu, as this is the first time we’ve featured this theme as part of our monthly Epicurean Adventure program,” said Jamil Pineda, Michael’s On East Executive Chef. “The infusion of exotic fruits and blending of Asian and Polynesian cuisine creates fresh, summertime fare.”

The three-course Hawaiian Epicurean Adventure dinner menu will be available Monday through Saturday evenings for $29.95 per person, July 1-31, 2013. The two-course Power Lunch offering features a choice of entrée and dessert for $18.95 per person and is available Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each wine pairing is $10 during dinner or $5 per pairing during lunch.

And in case you're in the mood for seafood, Michael's On East also features a "Lobster Pot Fridays" where you can indulge in a feast including two 1 1/4 lb. live Maine lobsters, mussels, clams, new potatoes and corn on the cob.
