Florida Keys Seafood Festival to Salute Local Fishermen and Harvest

Celebrate fresh Florida Keys seafood and the commercial fishermen who harvest it during the 9th Annual Florida Keys Seafood Festival.  

This two-day event taking place Jan. 18-19 will feature a feast of a menu, including fresh grilled Florida lobster, Key West pink shrimp, fried fish, stone crab claws, and smoked fish dip. You'll also find traditional regional favorites such as savory conch chowder, conch salad, sweet flan and Key lime tarts.  

The best part is all seafood is to be prepared and served by local fishermen and their families, making it a truly authentic ocean-to-plate experience.

In addition to all the great food, there will also be local entertainment, artisan crafts, marine life exhibits, and fun zone activities for kids. Sounds like a fun-filled weekend! 

If you need just one more reason to go, here's something to feel good about. Proceeds from the festival are to benefit the Florida Keys Commercial Fishermen's Association and scholarships for college-bound Keys students.
