This year marks the 50th Florida Seafood Festival, Florida's oldest maritime event.

This two-day seafood extravaganza in the historic town of Apalachicola is packed full of fun activities, but the biggest draw has to be Food Row.

This isn't your typical selection of fair foods, this is a seafood-lovers dream, including fresh oysters on the half shell, smoked mullet, grilled fish, and tons more. If it was caught off the coast of Florida, you'll find it here.

The Oyster Eating Contest is quite the draw, with some competitors known to consume over 250 oysers in just under 15 minutes. Can you imagine?

The festival culminates on Saturday evening with a concert by Kelly Pickler. It really is a great weekend full of food and fun. Just take a look at all the activities planned:

-- Oyster Eating Contest
-- Oyster Shucking Contest
-- Festival Parade
-- Carnival
-- Blue Crab Races
-- Photo Contest
-- 5K Redfish Run
-- The Blessing of the Fleet
-- History of the Festival Exhibit
-- Fireworks Show
-- King Retsyo's Ball
