Packing Tips for Family Vacations

ADD TO FAVORITES

Packing for vacation is never an easy task. And when there are kids involved, it can be even more of a chore.

My family and I are headed to Walt Disney World this week and I’ve already began putting together my packing list. Here are some of the things I have on my list:

Sunscreen -  I never leave home without it.  No matter if it's summertime or winter, the sunshine is always there and I don’t want to get burned. Plus, bringing my own bottle from home is a great money-saver.

Bedtime Necessities – When we travel, my girls sleep better if they have their favorite books and stuffed animals.  As a mom, whatever makes bedtime easier works for me!

Breakfast – If we aren’t staying somewhere that offers free breakfast, we typically bring our own. I usually bring muffins, donuts – something that travels well. It’s a great way to save money, but it's also a timesaver for us. We can all take turns getting ready and eating breakfast.

What are some of your family’s ‘must have’ items and tips for traveling?
