Memorabilia and More at “Treasures of Hard Rock” tour

ADD TO FAVORITES

I’m a huge fan of all types of music and ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved Hard Rock Cafes.

I even have an extensive collection of Hard Rock T-shirts from around the world. One of my favorite things about Hard Rock is the massive amounts of memorabilia on display.

This summer, Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos “Treasures of Hard Rock” tour is making its way across the country and the next stop is the Hard Rock Hotel Orlando - June 25 through July 1, 2013.

“Treasures of Hard Rock” pays tribute to music icons and features items from artists like Amy Winehouse’s dress from the 2008 Nelson Mandela tribute concert, a ‘90s stage outfit worn by the beloved Whitney Houston and Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain’s eighth grade yearbook.

Another section of the tour focuses on various charitable campaigns throughout Hard Rock’s history and the artists that helped these efforts. Items on display include a black pants suit worn by latina-pop artist Shakira during her 2006 tour and an Eko 12-string guitar used by Eric Clapton on the Blind Faith album.

I’m pretty excited to see this tour and brings my kids along too – maybe it will inspire them to become music lovers just like their mom!
