As we come to the end of 2013, I can’t help but look back at the amazing experiences my family and I had throughout Florida this past year. Here’s just a small sampling of our adventures the last 12 months:
In February 2013, we traveled to Homasassa to explore the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park and Homasassa Butterfly. The Big Bend region was filled with great nature and my oldest daughter still talks about that butterfly that landed on her hand.
The next month, we met new penguin friends at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. Penguins Shelley and Sandy were gracious hosts and loved the camera.
And, of course, a trip to Walt Disney World was on the schedule, too. Staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort was a real treat for us.
In early September, we had a peaceful getaway to the Steinhatchee Landing Resort. We loved cruising the area on our bikes. We are already talking about planning a return trip in 2014.
With the New Year approaching, I’m excited to explore even more of this beautiful state with my family. I’m looking forward to sharing all of our adventures with you, too – the fun has only begun in 2014.
