The fall season is my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World. Besides the cooler weather and smaller crowds, I love seeing Magic Kingdom Park decked out in its fall décor. Scarecrows, fall leaves and cool weather – what’s not to love?
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is another great reason to visit the Magic Kingdom this fall. This party is held select nights and features “Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade” twice nightly, some fantastic characters dressed in Halloween costumes and there’s plenty of trick-or-treating too.
Many of the park’s attractions are open during the party, be sure to visit the Haunted Mansion – it’s my favorite! Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costume too, so start thinking of a fun (but comfortable) costume to celebrate the holiday. Be sure to end your night with the HalloWishes fireworks show – it’s the perfect way to end the party.
The 2013 dates for this year’s event are:
September: 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 & 29
October: 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29, & 31
A separate park pass is required for this party. For more information, visit Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party online.
