In-Room Camping at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes

By: Carrie McLaren

I may be in the minority here, but I’m not a big fan of camping.  However, The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes recently introduced a unique way of camping for children that definitely has my attention and you never even have to leave your room.  Sign me up!

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in-room camping experience allows kids imaginations to grow and adds excitement to a vacation too. The package includes one premium tent per executive suite and includes

• A double featherbed with double sheet, waffle blanket, and standard pillow

• A battery-operated lantern

• A Florida-themed children’s book

• An alligator stuffed animal

• Ritz-Carlton tent delivery and set up

Doesn’t that sound like fun? What a fun way for parents to relax in their own room, while the children enjoy an indoor adventure complete with a nature-themed book and a lantern.  This unique package costs an additional $50.00 and is based on availability.  Each of the included amenities are intended for guests to keep with the exception of the tent and bedding.

My girls love hanging out in their tent and sleeping bags during the day, so I bet this is something they would love too.
